FAQs on Download Transactions

Why would I download transactions?

You may choose to download transactions to help you track the completed transactions for a note. For example, you may track your expenses for budget planning purposes.

I am being asked what application I want to use to open the download file. What do I do?

If you are using Netscape® 7.x to download a comma-separated file (.CSV), you may be asked what application you want to use to open the file.

To address this issue, you need to define the .CSV file type in Netscape 7.x by completing the following steps:
  1. In Netscape 7.x, click the Edit menu item and then Preferences.
  2. On the Preferences page, double-click the Navigator category and then click Helper Applications.
  3. On the Helper Applications workspace, click New Type. The New Type page is displayed.
  4. On the New Type page, enter the following information:
    • MIME Type. For CSV, enter TEXT/ CSV.
    • Description. For CSV, enter Comma Separated Values.
    • Extension. For CSV, enter CSV.
    • When a file of this type is encountered. Select Save it to Disk.
  5. On the New Type page, click OK.
  6. On the Preferences page, click OK.

I am being asked to save the information as a .JSP file. What do I do?

If you are using Netscape® 7.x to download a comma-separated file (.CSV), you may be asked to save the information as a .JSP file.

To address this issue, you need to define the .CSV file type in Netscape® 7.x by completing the following steps:
  1. In Netscape® 7.x, click the Edit menu item and then Preferences.
